Tom and Trixie were not done getting lost at the Chiltern Open Air Museum. These two tricky elves were back, trying to make their way around Wycombe in 2024, but with all those roundabouts, things went wrong very quickly.
Cue34 went into partnership with Wycombe Arts Centre and secured funding from the wonderful Wycombe Community Board. This project aimed to create affordable and accessible theatre for those in and around Wycombe. Ticket prices were kept to a minimum, with heavily discounted tickets for older adults.
This project aimed to ensure that families and multiple generations were encouraged to come along and participate in a shared experience. The indoor setting was a contrast to last year, but Cue34 developed the show to include more audience participation, musical numbers arranged by the very talented Kenrick Lawrence, and even more joy and elf cheer.
Tom knitted a magical scarf for Trixie, but when she took it off, humans could see the elves—causing even more mayhem and hilarity. The show was a resounding success, with Tom and Trixie performing for over 100 people—double last year’s audience!
Just like all our projects, Cue34 would like to thank our 'fri-elfs'—Wycombe Community Board and Wycombe Arts Centre.
