The type of personal data we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

 

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics . We only collect personal information from you when you provide us with the information. The information we collect includes: name, email, contact number and information pertaining to your child under 18 participating in our workshops

• Records of registration for our workshops

• Records of contact and activities with us, including emails and notes from meetings

• Photographs/videos of events for use in printed media and electronic promotional material with your consent

• When appropriate we collect medical and emergency contact information so that people can take part in our workshops in a safe and secure environment

• When appropriate we collect medical and emergency contact information so that creatives can participate in rehearsals and performance in a safe and secure environment

• If you work on our team and you require a DBS we will be able to apply for this and will need to collect relevant data in order for us to process the application

 

How we collect the personal information and how we use it

The personal information we process is provided to us by you, a parent/guardian for one of the following reasons:

• To opt-in to be notified of any events, updates and offers for further work

What are the lawful bases for our processing of your personal data

 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

• Consent - You will be able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting cue34theatrecompany@gmail.com

• Legitimate interest to use your data to carry out our legitimate organisational interest and that this is not overridden by the rights and freedoms of the data subject

• Contractual obligation when you complete a booking for one of our workshops. We need your data in order to be able to provide the workshops to you or your child in a safe and secure way

• Protecting someone’s vital interests, such as identifying a safe-guarding issue

 

How we store your personal information

 

Your information is securely stored

• We minimise the amount of personal data we keep about you and the period of time we hold it for.

• In some cases, we retain records for the length of time that we are legally obliged to do so (eg. Meeting minutes, safe-guarding). In other cases we review our policy and contact information yearly and then ensure it is deleted.

• Data is retained by Cue34 Theatre Company for marketing purposes if you have opted-in to receive marketing material.

• Personal data with regard to processing workshops will be deleted after 7 years of the conclusion of the workshop according to NSPCC protocol with reference to safe-guarding.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
